Okay, the official count for RSVP'd swappers tomorrow is 20 SOOO that means there will be a few folks, but be sure to try and bring a friend. Hopefully some folks will come as a result of the flyer, and hopefully some portion of the 26 maybes will come too!
Remember anything that goes unclaimed goes to the community warehouse- helping needy families, so everybody wins!
Looking forward to the swap tomorrow!

Re-using is the thing to do
OR get started by re-using kitchen goods!
A few notes on the re-use-o-rama community swap event happening THIS SATURDAY FEBRUARY 26th!!!
Please arrive between 11:30 and 12 with kitchen items (dishes, linens, food storage, pots and pans, ETC) that are in excellent usable condition. Eat free pizza between 11:30 and 12:00. At 12 swapping begins! Unload some great stuff that you simply don't need and pick up a few things you do need.
ALSO you should know that any leftover/unclaimed items will be donated to Community Warehouse for low income families and folks trying to get back on their feet.
Like the last swap, this is a win-win for everyone.
SIDE NOTE: The re-use-o-rama will continue the last Saturday of each month, but the start time will likely change ever so slightly to accommodate additional events at the Mississippi Pizza Pub. Keep your eye out for the official time for the March swap- theme to be announced. ALSO, if there is any theme you would like to see at a swap, please feel free to comment. Ideas are always welcome.
And thanks again for re-using!

And also...
This event will be happening the last Saturday of every month- same time (11:30-2), same place (The Mississippi Pizza Pub), but a new theme each month! To recap, this month the theme is kitchen... dishes, vases, linens, cookware, etc. anything useful that you aren't using that is just taking up space in your kitchen!!!
feel free to comment or email with any questions: re-use-o-rama@hotmail.com
keep in mind, this is also a good opportunity for rounding out camping dish sets too!

NEXT SWAP SATURDAY FEBRUARY 26th 11:30am-2pm
The next re-use-o-rama is in effect on Saturday, February 26th at the Mississippi Pizza Pub in Portland, OR. Starting at 11:30 am ending at 2pm.
Theme: Kitchen!!! This includes, but is probably not limited to: dishes (duh), silverware, meal storage containers, small appliances, pots and pans, linens, you know, stuff you use in your kitchen.
So here's the deal. You de-clutter your stuff and bring what you don't want (as long as it is in excellent condition!) to The Mississippi Pizza Pub at 11:30. Then starting at noon, you can take the stuff you want. Keep in mind, it would be real nice if you were respectful and took about the same value worth of stuff that you brought.
There will be a table from the City of Portland's Bureau of Planning and Sustainability. Their newest campaign, "Be Resourceful," is beginning with the kitchen! There will be lots of great ideas for how you can eliminate waste in the kitchen by being resourceful. There may even be some fun stuff you can collect from them!
Questions and reservations please send and email to:
re-use-o-rama@hotmail.com
This swap event will be advertised through a variety of sources, so please send an email if you intend to come! Thanks for reusing!
